In order to have a chance to have a good career, it is a good idea if one lives in Quebec or Canada to learn French. The French language is not very easy to learn as it is quite different than English and has a lot more exceptions. However, if you're in business and want to make a good impression with a French speaker, do some french translation. It is possible to use an automatic translator on the internet but a French translator will give you better results since whatever needs to be translated will not be words only, but the meaning. An English to French dictionary is a good tool to have when stuck somewhere with no one to help you. A few key words can help you get out of trouble or find someone or something that can help you. French translation is not simple and official translators needed to study hard to earn their degrees.

A brass rubbing of a monument depicting the daughters of Ralph and Elizabeth Verney. The brass rubbing comes from the Ralph and Elizabeth’s funeral monument in Aldbury, Hertfordshire, which depicts the couple and their nine sons and three daughters. The monument dates to 1547.
The Verney family were from Penley, Hertfordshire and owned the Manor of Penley since the fourteenth century. In 1528 Ralph Verney married Elizabeth Bray, daughter of Edmund Bray, 1st Lord Braye. They had twelve children who are depicted in the monument. One grandson was Sir Francis Verney (1584-1615) was a notable Elizabethan/Jacobean pirate and who eventually was captured by a Sicilian galley and imprisoned for two years until his death in 1615.
The daughters are depicted with French hoods which appear to have no veil at the back. The fact that they wear their hair loss suggests that they are unmarried. Their mother in contrast is depicted with a veil covering her hair.
