I was filling an internet job application form for NBC lately. And just like any today’s business form, it seemed so much more difficult than it used to be when you just had to send out a resume and then pass an interview. I totally got lost in the nbc careers web pages.
First, I had to upload my cover letter and my resume. It was quite easy after I tried several times but the 2 documents would not upload at once. The difficulties began afterwards. Html based software reviewed my resume and tried to sort out the data filling a pre-conceived form. But I had to change everything because the information gathered was totally irrelevant. So I spent hours and hours completing my profile and I did not even get a call from the company.
It was already tough to complete a federal income tax forms, but now if you try to do it over the internet, you will have to take several days off because it is very ill-conceived and it the page can quit any moment and you will have to start it all over again. Thank god, usually your state web site will explain carefully how to fill your income tax forms and that helps. Unfortunately for homeowners such an effort has not been made for real estate forms yet.
Too bad if you are bored with all this. But please do not skip it because then you would be sued you would have to fill a legal form, which is much more annoying and expensive.
