Food allergies happen when the body react to a certain type of food. The reaction always depends on how much the person is sensitive. Most common food allergies in adults are shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, fish and egg. On the other hand, most common food allergies in children are milk, eggs and peanuts. There is no cure for food allergies, food that you are allergic to must be avoided.

Baby food allergies is as frequent as adult allergies. It is needed to eliminate food such as dairy products, eggs, nuts, shellfish and citrus fruit in order to see if your baby still has allergy symptoms.

Symptoms of food allergies include anaphylaxis, angioedema, eczema, hives, itching, nausea, nasal congestion and wheezing. It differs from one person to another depending on how strong is the allergy.

Food allergy testing is usually done by analyzing a blood sample. If you do not want to go to a medical clinic to have your test done, there is always the possibility of ordering through Internet a food allergy test. There are plenty of medical websites that offer this option to you.
