Flat panel displays are the new thing. As all forms of new technology, a new best thing pushes what has served us so well for decades out, establishing its own position within our households. A good example of this is the flat panel display. Flat panel tvs were actually first constructed in the early 80s but and were discarded as their performance lacked integrity. However, with new technology and innovation, lcd flat panel tvs have rebuttled and have become the new thing to have in the household, taking over the global market in a short span of 3 years. Not only flat panel televisions, other FLAT items are also hot in todays hot stocks. Even flat panel speakers and flat as paper mp3 players have come into co-existance beside the televisions, leaving us thinking how they can cram such well performing items into such a thin frames. As always, technology proves its ever growing dominance over our lives as innovating products such as the Sony flat panel display and other lcd flat panel televisions replace the older models, with convincing application of the paradox that less is sometimes more.

The glass-enclosed structure was entirely devoid of furniture, but the presence of these TVs implies that couches and tables will be put in (although perhaps remaining removable for special events).
