There are so many types and ways to make coffee it can be instant or you can even use an expresso machine.
They say coffee has its origins in Africa and was found about 800 A.D. by a goat hearder. I truly wonder what I would have done had I been born before 800 A.D. I know I feel like my day just can't get started without a cup of coffee.
I remember the day when we had just the regular old perculators and black american coffee. Today there are all kinds of coffee makers and types of coffee. You can go into any store and there is such a wide variety of coffee makers to choose from that you could be in the store for more than an hour. There are even places where you can buy coffee on line.
With all the different types of coffee, I think my favorite is the espresso. Every day I would drive through Starbucks and get a cup. So one day I decided to buy an expresso coffee maker, the first place I started to look was on line. I thought it would be a cinch. Boy, was I ever wrong! There were so many types of expresso machines and so many prices that I couldn't figure out the differences between each. And that's not the only problem, once you buy your expresso machine you have to buy your espresso beans because you can't just use regular beans.
I never knew shopping for coffee was such an art. I'm glad that in the end I let my daughter who works at Starbucks choose my coffee maker and expresso beans. It was just all too much for me!
