Many Chinese restaurants in China and Tibet have two menus. One written in Chinese, one in English. But the English menu will always have higher prices. Sometimes just a little bit more, sometimes double the price. So in this restaurant, there was only a Chinese menu. You can actually see the menu. It's under the glass that lays the the table. They studied the translations of Lonely Planet very carefully. So maybe in the this restaurant there will be soon a Ripe-off-menu too...
