engines are mans best friend, or so the saying goes! And to an extent that is very true. Where would we be without all of our different types of engines and what would have happened if the first steam engine had not been invented? The first steam engine was invented in 1698 by Thomas Savery. and much later we had what is known as the ford engines. Today we have all types of engines. There is the diesel engine, marine engines, and even used engines.But, today an engine doesn't only relate to the big greasy toyota engine in your car, or even to the small engine repair shop that sits on the neighborhood corner. Today when we refer to engines we could also be refering to search engines. A search engine is a program that searches documents for certain words and gives you a list of documents where the word was found.
Or we could even be refering to search engine marketing. Search engine marketing uses marketing techniques to make a web site visible on search engines.There is another type of search engine related to the internet as well, and that is what we call the job search engines which are search engines that special in job procurement.
