Has this ever happened to you ? You are at home when suddenly your child comes and says that he has a report to do on the Earth and its moon. But he has no idea what to say or where to look for information. It is in times like these that I say "thank you Internet".
But where does one start to look for an earth view and information about this big old earth planet... I do believe that the best place when faced with any material related to the universe is to go directly to the source, the NASA (http://www.nasa.gov).
On their website, you can download images of the earth's globe as well as finding many fascinating facts about the earth. You will also have great images of the satellite of the earth, the moon.
Now kids, if you take anything from the website, please don't just copy and paste in your report (teachers today are not that dumb!), read about it and write down in your owns words. Oh, and don't be afraid to state the NASA as your source, your teacher will love to know that you actually did some research.
So whether you are looking for something from out there or even for earth maps, think of the NASA and you might be surprised of the amount of information this site holds.
