A New Age
Remember when a VCR was the rage? You could use it to record your favorite show and watch it over and over. Now there’s a new rage. It’s called DVD videos. They are used in much of the same way as VHS’s used to be except they can be used for much, much more. Plus they do not take up as much room as a video tape.
How to Use DVD Videos
There are three basic equipment needs to get the most out of DVD videos. First there is the basic DVD video player. Then there is the DVD video recorder which lets you play DVD videos as well as record onto them. Finally there is the DVD video converter. This is used to convert DVD videos into another format for use on devices such as iPods or PDA’s or even cell phones.
Kinds of DVD Videos
There are several kinds of DVD videos. There are, of course, the movie videos. But let’s not forget the DVD music video. You can buy these from the media store or burn video DVD’s of your favorite one straight from your TV. You can also copy video DVD’s, however caution must be taken with this to avoid breaking any pirating laws. At last there is the DVD video audio. This is more like a music CD. There is no video, just audio but they can be burned, copied, or converted just like any video DVD.
