Drugs have been around from the beginning of mankind where we used plants and animals to develop remedies for our diseases.

Today it is as simple as going to the drugstore and picking up the remedy that took so long to develop. Many people benefit in today's society with the help of drugs to help their ailments.

Many drugs like local Canadian drugs that stop headaches, and fevers and minor symptoms can be picked up by anybody at a local pharmacy but the stronger and sometimes more addictive drugs have to be prescribed to you by a physician.

These prescribed drugs can help some people solve their problems and ease their lives. For people who have a hard time getting pregnant are fertility drugs and soon enough a baby is born. For the obese people who tried every diet are weight loss drugs and soon enough the pounds fall right off. In today's society we have all sorts of drugs for all sorts of problems. We have drugs for depression and drugs for hyper active children.

Each day there are new drugs being developed and tested and today's society has learned to live with drugs a little to well.

Terrell- may be 18 but still needs a family

Terrell is an amazing success case. Coming from the slums of Philly (Philadelphia), being a semi-time street kid as a pre-teen, and losing his parents to prison and drugs Terrell has become a success story. He is making good grades in school, attends every day, is active in helping at the Boys and Girls Club, attends church and more. He has become a positive, helpful, intelligent, and polite 18yr. old.
He is more mature than most people you will ever meet.
Even though he is 18 he needs a family for financial and most importantly emotional support. Terrell is also an only child (young man).
If you are interested in adopting Terrell, please contact me and I can send you more info on the adoption process.

The Russian Mob in Goa

The Russian Mob in Goa

Interesting piece on South Asia's English-language Times Now site about the influence of the Russian mafia in Goa, a resort town famous for its gorgeous beaches and spacey trance music.

"As the increasing number of drug deaths among Russians increase, TIMES NOW's correspondent Aditi Sharma mounts a special investigation to solve the mystery of the growing influence of russian drug mafia in Goa.

"A Russian national -- 48 year old Andrey Dmitriev -- was found dead under mysterious circumstances last Sunday. The police were quick to pass it off as a heart attack. But soon enough, the truth came tumbling out. Initial reports ruled out a cardiac arrest, hinting at the possibility of a drug overdose. In 2007, at the same hotel -- where this Russian nationale was residing, another Russian -- 35 year olf Cheron Sergey -- was found dead. The cause of the death was Metabolite Morphine or Heroin that was found in his blood stream along with high levels of alcohol.

"Both deaths now recorded as mysterious, the case files have hardly moved further and Mumbai police has few answers. Despite repeated attempts, the police are refusing to divulge details, but its apparent that there is intense pressure to get to the root of the case.

"However, TIMES NOW decided to take the investigation further across the country from Mumbai following the link to Goa, where an older, as yet unsolved case is becoming a matter of diplomatic debate. An alleged Russian undercover agent -- 25 year old Evgeny Kuzmin -- was found dead in North Goa in December 2007."
