There is no one that doesn't want to gain iron abs. But how do we obtain them? Is there easier solutions than others? Is crunch the only way to go ? Is there a quicker way to flex those abs?
First of all, let's clear out some facts ! It is far from reality that series of set-ups help you gain dreamy abs. Some athletes are able to maintain their shape with this kind of exercise. We have to consider that they have done some serious work-out to obtain their muscles and not only a 100 set-ups per day ! Having great abdominals is nearly a full time job, you have to invest a lot of time and efforts.
What you need to know is that there are not only crunches that flex your abs. Some trainners will be discouraging by telling you that you'll never obtain the results you want by curling-up. Unfortunatetly, they are right. Of course, we have to variate our trainning and concentrate on the fact that repetition will pump our muscles !
Give priority to your leg and exercise your balance on a work-out ball. Apparently, exercising on a work-out ball that constantly moves gives you the balance that flexes your abdominals. Keep in mind that you need to find some exercises that flex your abs continuously.
An intensive abdominal work-out requieres a 3 to 4 weekly trainning sessions. To get good results, you should have a personal trainer to advise you on your work-out. A simple angle or a move too fast could put you on the wrong side of the track.
And don't forget our last rule; a good diet, low in fat, is the key for outstanding results. You will have to make judicious choices on your menu to obtain the abdominals your want !
