When walking into a house it is easy to see that windows fill every room with light and are pretty much all equal in the sense that they are all made with glass, but doors are much more unique, coming in a wide variety of sizes, colors, shapes and designs. While windows show you what is on the other side of them, a door is more secretive and you never know what is on the other side of it until you open it up. Every door connects to one side with a series of hinges and every door has a handle to relieve the latch and open it up.
Every back yard in a house usually has a sliding patio door to lead back in the house. If you are cooking, you may use your kitchen cabinet door store your spices and condiments. To prevent water spillage when you are in the shower is the shower door and to make a draft of air enter the house without letting in the creepy crawlies is a screen door.
There are so many doors and designs in one house each with its unique door handles and unique design. So next time you open the french door that leads to your living room, stop and admire its design.
