Everything is done with digital photo now.Digital technology has evolved from the same technology that invented the television and started with the video tape recorder. In the 1960s NASA started using digital imagery instead of analogue. In 1973 Texas Instruments patented a filmless electronic camera and after that Sony came out with Mavica. The rest is history as they say.
Digital photography has revolutionalized the photography industry and many famous photographers have gone totally digital nowadays.

Because so many photographers have taken up the digital cameras and there seems to be great controversy between using film or going digital, that even photo processing shops have grown to meet this need with their new digital photo viewer machines, and their digital photo printing service. Some photographers even specialize in digital wedding photography which doesn´t seem to matter to the couple. What they are most interested in is the quality of the images. In fact some couples prefer digital photography because they can keep prints and digital photo albums for all of their wedding memories.
There is still a great bit of controversy between the use of film or going digital and most photographers will say that they prefer film, but they also state that digital technology is getting much better, so maybe it wil replace film one day.
