Last week I made a trip to computer depot Kingston, I was looking for a couple of computer cases and for some reason I started to think about all the businesses that have the word depot in them. I started to think about the insurgence of depots since the installation of ofice depot. It seems that when a business is successful every other business wants to take after it. For example we have appliance depot, mortgage depot, and fitness depot Canada. It just seems like everyone has become a depot. If you’re looking for computer equipment then you go to computer depot Kingston. Why don’t we just go to the computer store? If you need unfinished furniture, or solar panels then you go to the appliance depot, or the electronic depot. I was so fascinated by why all these businesses have the word depot in them that I went to go look up the definition of the word depot and I found out that a depot is a type of warehouse or a place where freight is deposited. No wonder all of these depot businesses are so large. I guess they must feel that if they describe their businesses as a place where freight is stored then we as customers will feel that we are getting our product at a relatively inexpensive price.
