Crosswords are everywhere, in our daily Newspaper, online of course... and once we've started one, filling all the blank squares becomes close to an obsession. Did you notice? We always get stuck on a couple of definitions, usually the last ones... but fortunately help is at hand, in the shape of a good dictionary for crossword puzzles . my uncle arlie is 86 years old. i don't know how long he's been adding to this crossword dictionary, but it must be years. the margins are jam-packed with notes and additions. the front cover says "amended by a. o. sessions." gotta love him.

i'm just amazed by this book. and i'm even more amazed that he gave it to me on saturday to give to my husband. i think it's quite an inheritance.
