I am a real crafts person. I love to wander around in all the craft stores like Michaels arts and crafts, and on special weekends I take my daughter to the craft shows to see what the latest and newest tendencies are. Lately we’ve been into wood crafts. I’ve bought a small scroll saw and we cut out all kinds of shapes. My daughter likes animal shapes that she paints and decorates her room with. My son likes ships especially what he calls military ships. He of course has a whole world of war craft in his room. My children have become so accustomed to seeing me with my crafts that they have also acquired the hobby. Every time we go to a craft store they have to visit the make your own section. You know the make your own candles, soaps and t-shirts. They also have to see what’s new in the children’s crafts section. It’s funny I think we spend more at the craft store than we do at the mall. Especially in October and November when we start our Christmas crafts and spend hundreds of dollars on our equipment. My husband says we are enthusiastic and that the house looks just a little overdone at Christmas. I think he’s being very nice because truthfully it looks a lot overdone, but we have a blast with our craft projects.
