When on the threshold of entering a new profession, resume and cover letters are very important as they are the tools to get the right job. The cover letter format to be employed should include:

• A small intro on the job applied for
• Your skills and qualifications and
• Your availability

For instance a teacher cover letter should specify the teaching post you are interested in, your passion , skills, strengths for the role of a teacher and when and how to reach you. A professional cover letter should make the employer to call you immediately even before reading the resume. Employment cover letter should also contain a personal touch as opposed to downloaded cover letters from the net. The best cover letter should be brief, precise without jargon.

Resume and cover letter could also be written with the help of professionals. An example of a cover letter is given below:

I would like to apply for the position of..........I am a quick learner with a wild enthusiasm for photography. I also have a P.G. Diploma in Photography.
You can call be at anytime and my number is.........If selected I would be happy to join immediately.
