Living in the country is a choice, the choice of peace over the excitement of city life; of starry skies over neon lights. There are much to be considered however; the proximity of schools for the kids, the problems of commuting for the parents. So most will settle for the middle term and opt for the suburbs, with theaters and restaurants nearby, lots of activity for the whole family, and still a nice garden to enjoy the wonders of nature.
It doesn't mean we have to give up on the charms of a fine country home decor though. It's all a matter of taste, and there's no reason why we should not call on country home decorating ideas to enhance our suburban house. Actually, even a downtown loft, if large enough, can be transformed by one of those gorgeous dining table traditional in most french country homes , the kind of table that will provide the perfect setting for our gastronomical meals.
Eventually though, for some of us anyway, theaters and restaurants will loose their appeal, and long commuting time won't seem so scary anymore. Those will spend more and more time leafing through country style home plans and photos and devote the Sunday afternoon drives to searching the countryside for an affordable piece of land.
It usually means they are ready for the real thing. When one reaches that point it's time to go on the web, seriously look for the perfect country home plan and start building the country home of our dreams. Birds make such fine neighbors.
