Cornwall is located in eastern Ontario about 90 minutes driving south west of Montreal, Quebec. A city with a population of about 45 000 located along the St-Lawrence river at the beginning of the Thousand Islands.

The region is rich in culture that you can discover at the Pioneer and the Community museums and by visiting the homes of early settlers.

There are all kind of affordable accommodations from a bed and breakfast in a traditional setting to standard hotel chains. Maybe you will opt for holiday homes in the countryside or on a private island.

A lot of activities are awaiting for you at the beaches, recreational trails, conservatory areas and migratory birds sanctuaries.

Most hotels in cornwall ontario are located along the road to get on the Cornwall bridge which links to the United States. A lot of trafic are going through each day also stopping for some Duty Free shopping.

Follow the sign from the highway for the tourist information office in order to get updated about festivals and special events in the Seaway Valley region.
