We all have a story to tell, ideas to share, so much the better if we can make some money in the process. There are so many writing contests on the Web, you're almost sure to find one looking for the genre you favor. The telling of an event that once baffled you may well earn you a prize in a short story contest. If you're blessed with an overflowing imagination, you may consider a screenplay competition. Who knows? Fame and fortune could be just around the corner. We all have a strong point, a simple search on the Web is sure to lead you to the 'enter to win contest' that will let you take advantage of it. Of course, we're not all suited for the wet t-shirt contest, but there are many alternatives. Either for money or simple satisfaction, entering a contest is always a rewarding experience. For those of us favoring images over words, just pick up that digital camera and enter a photo of the child or grand child you adore in a baby photo contest. What a pride should it win. The older children in the household should be encouraged to join in fun competitions, an egg drop contest for example. It's a sure way to learn the pleasures of friendly rivalry. Contests are a reflection of life... a struggle to win, in the respect of our opponents.
