For some reason the idea of commitment is just difficult for most men. What has happened to change the way men look at relationships. Its almost as if they feel that commiting to one woman will affect their mental health in a negative way. It's not that they don't want companionship its just that they are afraid of the unknown, so they insist on the no strings attached issue. So guys just won’t commit and yet, they also get jealous if you mention another man in your life so what’s the reason most men won't commit to any one woman. In a case study it was found that 80% of the men were afraid of commiting to one woman. Apparently there were many reasons cited, but generally their fear of intimacy was due to their believing that they would be tied down and unable to enjoy their activities. It seems that the fear of commitment affects many single men and maybe even many single women of today.
Maybe it works both ways though. Try telling a guy that you like that your just not looking for anything serious, and that you have an intense fear of commitment. That you enjoy having a lot of male friends and just don’t want a serious relationship. You’ll probably find that he’s a lot more interested than he says he is.
