I live in a part of the world where coats and jackets can be worn most of the year. It’s cool in the morning and evening and warm in the afternoon. So for that reason coats are an essential part of our wardrobe. When I go to Texas I am continually shopping for wool coats, leather coats and even sport coats. Sometimes I get strange looks from the sales clerk especially if its summer and over a hundred degrees there and I'm buying winter coats. I always have to explain to the clerk in the womens coats department, that I am just visiting and that I live in an area where we always wear sport coats and jackets. And I usually have to do the same in the mens coats department, when I'm shopping for my husband. Of course if I’m shopping for a coat in the spring or early summer I usually get an extraordinary deal because they are always on sale sometimes at a fraction of the original cost. I especially love leather coats and I usually choose to shop for this item in the spring times. The reason is because I get such a good deal, I can usually find a leather coat at this time of year for about 75% off of the original price. I almost leave the store jumping for joy. I’m sure I must seem terribly crazy to the people working in the store.
