Wherever you go in the world cnn brings you the news and popular shows like Larry King live, Anderson Cooper 360 and the situation room thanks to its international network.
Nevertheless cable news did not stop the supremacy of tv networks news broadcasts. NBC, ABC and CBS still gather more than 20 million viewers every evening when cable news channels barely attract 5 million of them. But when it comes to such events as the presidential election results cable tv gets very competitive. Fox News became very famous in 2000 when it announced George Bush had been elected president before any other news service.
