Ten years ago, cinema odeon was a great company associated to an outside entertainment. People went to cinema together to share a common time and have fun. It was an opportunity to see each other and sometimes to offer a romantic evening. In North America, cine park or in Europe cine room where a social place. Cinema movies were a way to be fashion by knowing what was the last Hollywood Cinema movie and where to see it.
With the home cinema, people've seen a social evolution of this art. Nowadays, cinema is coming to you in your private space, your home.
For most of the people, the cinema is a part of their life. This point explains the development of website as tamil cinema news which still try to attract people. The evolution of this art is parallel to the social way to think.
Except Independent Film which claims the freedom of their productions, most of the movies are a mirror of the society. They reflect a way to be, a common everyday's life. Even the places has changed. For example, Dollar cinema is a huge cinema in Montreal which offer many films at the time.
From that assessment, we can think that cinema has taken the place's of painting in 19century.
