Early you say? Never early enough for some of us to start memorizing those Christmas carol lyrics if we want to be the star of the Party come the Holidays. As far as I'm concerned, I've been twelve years trying to remember the 12 days of Christmas song lyrics , and still start babbling right in the middle of it. Everyone claims to know the lyrics to Christmas songs . Of course... usually the chorus and one verse out of three. Would it not be great to know them all and amaze our friends with our superb rendering of the oh Christmas tree lyrics ? Better yet, we could take that old guitar out of the closet, search the net for Christmas songs lyrics and chords , and start practicing right now. Should it happen that our singing voice is not at par with our ambitions, well... we can always fall back on poetry, for most of the lyrics for Christmas carols are indeed beautiful poems, worthy to be read and recited. So you see, it's never too early to begin memorizing Christmas music and lyrics . Personally, I'll get back to the lyrics to the 12 days of Christmas right away... who knows? I may even go as far as the tenth day comes next Christmas.
