What do we do about cholesterols? All we see in the news today is information on how to lower your cholesterol, or information on cholesterol. With as much information as we receive about ways to lower cholesterol you would think we would all be thin and healthy. I think everyone knows how he or she should diet to lower cholesterol, or how to lower his or her cholesterol naturally? We even know a lot about cholesterol lowering drugs, but most of us don’t pay attention. It’s kind of the; “Oh it won't happen to me syndrome” until we are actually affected by it, and then it may be too late. I mean we do try to avoid being hit by a truck in the street so why can’t we avoid high cholesterol foods or why don’t we check our normal cholesterol levels more often. I think maybe it’s because we love to eat and psychologically food makes us feel alive so when we have to diet for high cholesterol we feel sick so we ignore the problem. Maybe we should try thinking of healthy foods not as healthy foods but as foods that are fresh and delicious and not greasy, old and stale. Maybe after all, it’s all in our minds.
