My friend Matt invited me over to Ginny's Little Longhorn on Barnet to introduce me to the world of Chicken Shit Bingo. For a measly $2 contribution, each patron is assigned a number. The chicken is then brought in from the backyard, into this cage full of feed, where it eventually poops on a random number. The person with the lucky number wins moulah.
Today's number was 25. Today, ladies and gents, I am proud to announce that I was the lucky winner. BOOYEAH!
I didn't intend on buying a ticket, but an older man in front encouraged me to get into the spirit and join in. In fact, I wasn't paying attention to the number on which the chicken shat out this morsel until my friend said, "Oh, 25!" Little did everyone else know, but inside my own trousers, I think I shat a little morsel myself.
What'd I do with the $? I bought rounds of drinks and joined a few people to see Wilco. Seriously, guys, I LOVE AUSTIN.
