small cars
In some European countries, where the distances are short and the trains many, reducing the number of cars on the road may be feasible. For Canadians, the goal is almost out of reach. Commuting in the urban centers is easy enough, but when one settles in the suburbs, having a set of wheels becomes a must. There are ways to help the environment however, and since the hybrid models are still expensive, why not settle for a smaller car when we next visit the local used car dealers . We'll save on gas, but will also see a noticeable difference when shopping for car insurance quotes . A car should be a useful tool, not a money pit... and if we need more traveling space for the holidays or a special occasion, there's always the option of budget car rentals ... renting once or twice a year will prove cheaper than feeding that humongous, gas thirsty machine week after week. And to fulfill our inborn need for speed, we can always turn to the many car racing games around. So next time we visit a dealer, or search the classified for used cars for sale , let's keep in mind that 100 km per hour is still the speed limit everywhere, and that the environment will thank us for choosing a car that serves that purpose... no more.
