Cadbury is as important in the history of the UK as the BBC or Fish & Chips restaurant. It is the kind of cultural specialty that makes a great empire of this country whose power does not only rely on the army or its past colony.
Nevertheless the market share of Cadbury in the sweets business keeps decreasing year after year. It is sure that the rivalry of such brands as Kraft food, which attracts customers with hits products like Kit Kat, does not make things easy for the old English factory. Even though Cadbury tried to expand its consumers range creating a new chocolate chewing gum among other innovations it just could not reverse the trend.
In the UK the co operated company really makes it big and has lots of loyal consumers there because it knows how to adapt itself to the local taste. But it is quite more difficult for Cadbury to come up with specialties from its factory that people can appreciate all over the world even though chocolate is pretty universal.
Nevertheless the Cadbury chocolate has everything to be liked by the masses. It is very sweet and melts in the mouth. And Cadbury created lots of different product around the traditional dairy milk specialty. It now offers chocolate with nuts or even raisins in it and it even started producing white chocolate.
