Are you one of these people that think butterflys are pretty? Well, you´re not the only one. Read on to find out more about the butterfly.
A butterfly is considered to be an insect. I hate to think of them as insects, but they are of the Lepdoptera order. What is interesting about them is the life cycle of a butterfly: with a larval stage, an inactive stage, and their matamorphosit into a colourful winged adult butterfly. Especially colorful are the butterflies from costa rica, and the monarch butterflies from Mexico. Did you know that most of the species are day flying insects only.
In fact butterfly watching has become a popular hobby because their graceful flight attracts attention. Even people that don't watch butterflies as a hobby find butterflies interesting. There are people that create butterfly pictures, or other types of butterfly art. They even integrate the butterfly into jewelry making. The other day I saw a beautiful butterfly necklace in a shop window.
There are people that create their own butterfly garden so they can watch the butterflies fly around their gardens.
Butterflies have even been integrated into the world of tattoos. There are thousands of different types of butterfly tattoo designs that many ladies like to place on their ankles or other parts of their body.
