While Britney was once considered a role model and talented singer, her various antics have proved to work against her... Performers all 'do what it takes" to sell records, but should one of them choose to target a market of young influential and suggestive markets, they should maintain that standard. Britney was once a vibrant performer, but her path became tainted, including drug use, lack of motherhood skills, and various other "tabloid" adventures. The audience she sold records to is now grown up and she is performing to people who can't relate to her musically - her "reputation" precedes her. Kids who once adored her find her "silly".
