My kids love breyers ice cream! Every week I would buy the Sunday paper just to see if I could find some kind of grocery coupons for breyers ice cream, we loved it that much. One day though my husband had a brilliant idea! He thought it would be a great family activity to make our own ice cream. So out I went to look for an ice cream maker for sale.
His argument was that, after all I could then make my own sugar free ice cream. Plus, the ice cream maker would pay for itself in no time, he said, after all we wouldn’t be buying ice cream and the same machine could double as a yogurt maker. He told me that I could even make gourmet ice cream such as green tea ice cream, which he would love. I finally bought a very expensive electric ice cream maker and we made delicious ice cream… twice to be exact! We all loved it! But it seemed that I never had the time to make the machine work and it always just seemed easier to make that trip to Breyers. Finally the wonderful ice cream maker made its way under the counter as it was to big and bulky for the counter top, eventually it was forgotten until the day we started to look for stuff to add to our yearly neighbourhood garage sale.

Meanwhile, disneymike busied himself in the kitchen and made the most delicious dessert. Any sweet concoction involving a blow torch HAS to be good.
