Bollywood is now the hypest city in India

Hollywood would better look east and pay attention to India. Its entertainment capital Bollywood is already the city producing the most movie in the world building almost entirely the current Indian culture and conquiering a huge market share in Asia. American cultural goods already got a severe blow from China which nurtures the worldwide piracy consumers but the indian movement may prove more dangerous as it tends to win in the biggest market in the world and maybe some day will Indian movies even be able to compete in North America. Even though they were not represented during the last Cannes film festival, Bollywood movies are very much appreciated in Europe.

And hindi film songs often hit the world charts.
The cultural influence of India does not consist only in Bollywood but it surely is its main vector along with Indian migrants. You can now find indian restaurants everywhere in the world, especially in London where the Indian community is very important. If you do not live in a big city you can find indian recipes all over the Internet or at your favorite bookstore. Indian food is becoming really popular so you will not have any diffulty finding ingredients in the nearest grocery store. The indian culture is just so catching that more and more parents give their children indian baby names.

So if you are not convinced yet just check out the next film festival in your city, they often feature free hindi movies. Enjoy!
