The Bible or holy bible to Christians is the most important document to be read and referred to by all practising Christians. The bible has an old testament and a new testament. The Bible contains a number of parts otherwise known as the books of the Bible. Within the books are the chapters and bible verses or what we would otherwise call paragraphs. Other documents have been written to accompany the Bible and to help believers to use the Bible for example you can find a bible dictionary, which will explain words and places named in the bible as well as explain all the puzzles and phrases used by jesus christ and others. A bible commentary will give interpretations of the teachings of the bible and apply them to everyday life. All these documents do help towards individuals who want to take bible studies but there are bible studies classes too. The Old Testament is common to the Hebrew bible as well as the christian bible especially for the protestant branch of christianism. The hebrew bible has retained its original language and is of course the worship book of the Jews.
