In the past few years, beef cattle has been greatly affected and the sales of beef had dropped. A string of diseases had affected the beef in the United States and even affected the cattle in Canada. In Canada, the beef farmers are under strict observation by the Canadian Governement thus producing undoubtedly the best Grade A and Angus beef in the world.

The most widely used recipe for beef today would be for oven roasted beef. The reason for this cooking method is that the meat will be eaten hot for supper and then can be refrigerated and used the following days for cold sandwiches for lunch.

Since beef is a very versatile meat, there are many roast beef recipes than can be done because you can use almost any spice with the beef so long as the meat is not over cooked and basted on regular intervals. The one trick many people do not use when making roast beef is searing the meat before putting it in the oven. You must sear the bottom of the roast beef before putting it in the oven so that the meat will remain juicy and tender throughout the cooking process.

When making a beef stew recipe, you must remember that the meat must cook for a very long period, sometimes between 3-5 hours on a slow simmer for a tender flakier meat.

Every one's favorite ground beef recipe, HAMBURGERS! Enjoy.
