Backgrounds are used to enhance a presentation or a website. Here are some tips to help you to find free backgrounds.

If you plan on building a website, you will need some backgrounds that represent the subject of your website. There exist many free website backgrounds available on the Internet. Some of them represent butterflies, flowers, stars, leaves, shells, dolphins, etc. There are also backgrounds that are textured images.

Free desktop backgrounds can help you to personalize your computer. Categories of desktop backgrounds include 3D backgrounds, animals, nature, travels, cartoons, music, films, space, cars, sports, etc.

Free PowerPoint backgrounds are classified into the following categories: business, creative, education, finance, holidays, humor, inspirational, religion, social, sports, science and technology. There are also abstracts, frames, edges, gradients, perspectives and textures.

Free myspace backgrounds can easily be found on the Internet. All you have to do is to find an image that will make you look original and this image has to fit what you love in life and what represents you best. There are even free animated backgrounds such as glowing stars, animated hearts and moving balloons for example.
