The ATM or an Automated Teller machine is a device which helps customers withdraw cash from an automated telecommunication machine, without any manual help. It is a boon for a majority of people as it provides a facility which is easily available in any public area, and hence one does not really need to worry about taking out cash from a bank in case of an emergency.
