Are you one of these people that say that they don't know what art is? When you think of art you generally think of the fine artist, but there are many types of art. There are so many types of artists. There are visual arts and theatre arts and literary arts. There are those of us that show our work in the art gallery, or those that work in the new type of contemporary art, such as the graphic artist. Do not forget even those artists that have just graduated from makeup artist school.
You can find an artist just about anywhere you look; when you go to the museum you see the portrait of the artist as a young man, and many different types of oil paintings. But, in the same way, as you step out of the museum, you can listen to the music artist on the radio of the taxi you just got into, or watch the hip hop artists working on the sidewalks for whatever donation people are willing to give.
Art is everywhere; you just need to be aware of it. There are many types of graphic artists for example and they all differ in their work, but they are still considered to be artists. An artist is defined, as someone whom is creative. Each individual creates his own art and each of us chooses the type of art we like.
