Many of us have had the extreme pleasure & honor to play music on exceptional instruments such as the Aria Guitar from the 1970's. The classical guitar has been said to be the aristocrat of all musical instruments & playing on an Aria, quite convinces us of that!
A guitar considered to be classic, must conform to certain traditional standards, craftsmanship is important, & the proper selection of woods. The decoration & the finishing must be immaculate! And for these reasons, the Aria Guitar of the 1970's is definately CLASSIC! Run your hand over the finish of the inlays & feel the magic.
Back in the middle 1970's, Aria produced a lot of Classic guitars. The A560S Grand Concert Aria Classic with it's beautiful Jakaranda sides & finish. Fine grain. Specially selected cedar top & neck of mahogany & a Spanish style body. An intricate mosaic inlay compliments the sound hole. The Jakaranda headpiece & bridge with bone saddle make this an incredible guitar! Machine heads gold plated.
Yes, it was indeed a pleasure, when a buddy would let us strum a little on his Aria, usually, not for too long though, as Musicians are very "connected" with their instruments.
Gibson was great & so was Fender, but when it came to an Acoustic, an Aria was what was needed. A guitar is a personal item & the feel & the sound are so important if we are to continue to make great music!
Today vintage is a word that is carefully associated with certain items. It is a word that commands a great respect. And the guitars of the 1970's were very special, Aria & vintage have come together. Highly collectible & sought after by many, the Aria A560S, will always remain a prize possession to it's owner!
