The province of Alberta is named after the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria of England. Alberta is one of the most influential provinces in the economy of Canada due to its high production of oil and natural gas. In Canada there is no place like Edmonton the capital of Alberta, because there is where started the business activities in the territory when was part of the Hudson's Bay Company, that in 1975 settled and since then became the center of administrative activities, which continues today as the capital of the province. Another major city is Banff that shows a tourist facet of Alberta and Canada, as it is in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
