The Wright Brothers flew the first historic airplane over 100 years ago after several aborted attempts by many of his forerunners and people had concluded that man would never fly and it is not the will of God.
We have Model airplanes of both flying, and non-flying types and small unmanned model aircraft meant for flying for fun and for aerodynamic research. These are often scaled down versions of full size planes, using materials such as wood and fiberglass. Aircraft engines are based on a propulsion system and most aircraft engines are either lightweight piston engines or gas turbine engines.
Today aircrafts have become so commonplace and there are plenty of dealers who offer both new and pre-owned aircraft sales. The hobby of flying RC planes has been gaining in popularity in recent years. RC planes and helicopters are easy to fly and RC airplanes clubs are more common now than ever before.
In a bid to promote tourism, most airline companies offer cheap airplane ticket to hundreds of cities across the globe. Even after the lapse of more than a century since Wright Brothers flew the first aircraft, airplanes continue to be one of the most amazing inventions of man.
Airplanes, modern or old, have histories of their own. But let’s not go into history. I certainly can tell from my personal experience that airplanes have definitely been one of the remarkable achievements in the history of human civilization and how can I forget the day when I boarded an airplane for the first time. It was completely a different experience.
