We've all heard the expression stating that accidents happen, so we all agree it is always a good idea to be careful in just about anything we do on a regular basis in order to avoid these unfortunate accidents. Safety first some will say, but there are those who will not wear helmets when they ride their bikes or when they ski. Sports injuries are indeed quite common and there are always a few people that die each year in Canada while skiing. So wearing a helmet might be a good idea to lessen the risks of a fatal or important accident. Car crashes kill a lot of people each year, and many are injured severely. So wearing a seat belt seems to be the least we can all do to prevent the unnecessary deaths. In any case, make sure you have good auto insurance. At home, make sure fire safety is a priority as you never know when a fire could burn your house down. Safety 1st, but we must still live and enjoy life at its fullest.

A photo from the hit-and-run on the intersection of Pleasant and South State Street. I emailed a few shots to the police and a couple of them ended up on WMUR.
